Acsull sighed with contentment, his legs crossed in a meditative stance. He hovered over the barren, green grasslands before a small blue pond, the soft whispers of the wind touching his ears. Perhaps it was by luck, or perhaps it was by fate, but the Namekian had found a place on Earth that most effectively reminded him of his home on Namek. It was quiet, it was barren, and it was secluded... Granted, the color scheme was completely swapped and there was still some odd-plant life scattered amongst the grasses and weeds, but it was this was as close to home as he could get.
Acsull hadn't come to this slice of home for rest and relaxation. The training was all he was here for... and so, that's what he would do. The Namekian's eyes fell closed, his hands cupping one another in his lap as he focused his mind, his body hovering several inches above the ground. Acsull would imagine his energy spreading out around him, reaching out for the loose and light stones and rocks, steadily lifting them in the air! Something pulled in his mind as if tugged in dozen directions, large rocks the size of Acsull himself prying up from the ground, surrounding him like a ring.
Acsull clenched his eyes shut as he focused in deeper, slowly condensing the stones into a smaller and smaller shape, his lips curled back in a snarl as she tightly, yet carefully, crushed the stones down to size! Over the course of several moments, the earthy shapes were crunched down into the smooth, highly condensed form of spheres no larger than a knuckle, their surface having darkened from brown to black from the sheer pressure they were under!
Acsull's face relaxed as he let out a breath, the spheres spreading out around him in a wider circle, allowing a new set of stones to be pulled up from the ground!
This training was all about precision paired with power. One small mistake, one inaccurate application power, and the rocks would crumble apart. On top of this, he needed to keep the rocks floating in the air despite their number and weight. True training was applying everything in a homogenous package, something that forced the trainee to apply all of his knowledge in a functional and meaningful way. The silence and the familiarity of his surroundings allowed the Namekian's nerves to rest for a while, to allow himself to relax... As the Elders would say: Relaxation was key to focus.
...And Acsull was learning that now.

Kira couldn't help but spectate in silence a little off in the distance, he had touched down around five minutes ago but wanted to keep himself from distracting the Namekian he had met not all that long ago. The last thing he wanted to do was interrupt, but at the same time he did want to say a quick hello. After the last time they met, things might've been a little rough and Kira couldn't help but want to smooth that situation out if he could. There wasn't any need for them to dislike each other, after all they had both been there for the elderly man with the best intentions. They were clearly aligned in some way, and Kira couldn't help but hope they could manage to follow that path.
Kira would remain silent for as long as it took for the Namekian to call over to him, observing. He was taking in the Namekians meditation session and comparing it to his own meditation sessions, they had similarities with this. It appeared that maybe these two had more in common than they had though and maybe, though a far fetch thought they would be able to team up and take down the one attacking the cities of Earth.
"Yeah, Like I'm anywhere near that level." Kira replied softly to his own thoughts. Though he really wanted to do the right thing and wanted to stand against such a foe, he knew it was hopeless. It wouldn't be possible for somebody like him to take on a tyrant like that, the best he could do was maybe inflict a scratch on them. Regardless, Kira wanted to stay positive in the moment and hopefully make a friend.
If he could actually manage it, he'd be able to turn a negative situation into a positive and that's what he had always been about. Things could always be worse, and it wasn't like they were trying to kill each other. They had a disagreement sure, but that was hopefully the end of it! For now, Kira would have to live in the moment and see if he could make this situation a good one. All he could really do now was hope that the Namekian wouldn't be too upset that his training got distracted, and that right there was a questionable thing. Though, he supposed he'd have to wait and find out! Hell, maybe he'd just be ignored.

In truth, Acsull had been aware of Kira's presence from the moment he had arrived, the Namekian monitoring him passively at the edges of his senses. It seemed as if the Earthling wasn't yet ready to announce himself so the guardian saw little reason to acknowledge him, instead choosing to spend his energy further honing his control. He couldn't help but wonder, though, as to why the young man had shown himself to him now, especially after their last meeting. One would have thought they would have gone their separate ways, mutually content to remain in their own corners to avoid further... incidents.
...Apparently, that was not the case. A pity, to be sure.
In truth, Acsull wasn't yet ready for another meeting with Kira. A bad first impression can leave scars that dig deep into the heart and Kira's was... less than ideal. Forgiveness and tolerance were virtues espoused by the eldest and wisest of Namekians and yet, they were always the hardest and most complicated to truly understand. The mind could logically deduce what steps to take, what to say, and how best to follow through. Such things were shallow and empty, however, if one didn't believe in what they were doing.
Acsull didn't believe himself a spiteful person, especially since he had set out, that day, with the best of intentions. ...And yet, he could feel in his heart a barbed fist clenched up inside. Acsull hadn't expected to be challenged in the way he went about his duties as guardian mere days after he arrived and perhaps it was that which was the source of his frustration. He had only sought to do good and was shot down for it with not a thought given to understanding. Namekians would have understood... They would have had the patience to stop, think, and comprehend why things were the way they were.
...Another flaw in his thinking: He WASN'T on Namek anymore. He had to stop thinking he was.
It was time he let go, or at least try to. Kira may have been hotblooded and instinctive, but he wasn't a bad person. A guardian needed to accept that some people weren't going to click with them upon first interaction and that some were going to be more... explosive than others. This was simply the way of things. With a sigh, Acsull would turn a palm upward, the small orbs around him hovering just above his palm. He would crack an eye open and flick his gaze in the direction of Kira, his expression... mixed, to say the least.
"What are you here for?" He asked gruffly.

Kira had waited patiently for himself to be addressed, a trait that he was rather quite pleased with. Being a teacher or martial arts to children had taught him that patience was indeed key, and though it wasn't something that came naturally to him, he did manage to learn it through time and effort through his younger and more immature students. Though it was something that could be applied anywhere, and here it got him through the long wait while he waited politely for the Namekian warrior to address him first, the last thing he wanted to do was interrupt a training session. Considering their last meeting, that wouldn't be the wisest and Kira would want to avoid further conflict. If he could, this would be the time to smooth everything over.
When he was finally addressed by the Namekian, Kira couldn't help but give a friendly smile. Even though there may have been a hint of awkwardness, he was being genuine. "If I'm being honest, I'm rather curious about your methods here. Just making simple observations, learning from another martial artist in a way. Plus, I wouldn't mind trying to smooth things over from the last time, ya know?" Kira couldn't help but pause for a very brief moment as he brought his hand to his head and gave it all but a little scratch, being uneasy as he tried to navigate his way through this situation.
"I mean, neither of us are bad people and regardless how the last time went, I don't think we need to continue down that path. Of course, if you disagree I won't argue to change your mind. Just.. trying to be friendly, I guess." There had been no confidence in his voice about the situation, maybe it was just a fools hope that he'd be able to smooth this over. He didn't quite thing it'd come to a fight or anything, but he was trying his damn best to be respectful of the Namekian. Kira was well aware that there had been two parties here and they might not have the same opinion on the matter and to think about it further, maybe the Namekian was offended by the last meeting, after all Kira DID call him out rather point blank, maybe it wasn't the most appropriate of methods but it was done now. Kira would wait for a response before getting too carried away here, though he'd pay attention to the Namekian's tone and body language, seeing if he'd be welcome to stay.

It was a surprise, though a welcome one, that Kira would be the first between them to offer... something amounting to reconciliation. It was nice, at least, to know that he wasn't the only one thinking about it, that Kira too wanted to put things back in order. The Namekian's body language relaxed, a tentative, but genuine smile starting to creep across his face.
"I do not seek hostilities with you, Kira." Acsull affirmed, slowly turning to face him. "In fact, I was working up the nerve to propose the same thing: We need not be at each other's throats, least now than ever. Your world is in danger, I can hear it in the wind. It is better that we work together as allies than as enemies, yes?" The Namekian would pause a moment to read Kira's response before continuing. "As for what I am doing, meditation has always been a strong part of Namekian training. Being able to master oneself is the most direct... and surest, way to achieve mastery over one's ki."
To demonstrate, Acsull extended his fingers, each of the stones shooting out and hovering around Kira. In unison, they would contort and twist in a tight double-helix formation around the young earthling, snaking around his head, body, arms and legs before shooting back toward the Namekian's hand! He would smile before holding his other hand over the stones, and, as he slowly raised it, the rocks would expand outwards again, swelling back to their original size!
"I have changed the shape of these stones through sheer pressure and now, I have expanded them again through ki. The ability to alter shape and change structure is both a function of magic... but can also be achieved through true energy control." Acsull would cross his arms across his chest and the stones would collapse to the ground at his feet, each one leaving a sharp indent in the earth.
"Is this not how you earthlings train? I have noticed a preference for martial arts on your world over sheer mental exercise. Is this common among your people?"

Kira couldn't help but let a warm and glowing smile cross his face upon hearing the Namekian's words, for he had expected something a little different. He didn't plan on such a warm welcome or an equal want to mend their differences, but it was exactly what he was hoping for, and it was exactly what he had been given. Even in such circumstances to interrupt ones training, Kira was grateful for the Namekian's reaction and it so obviously showed on his face. Kira wasn't one to hide his emotions, he let a vast majority of them shine on out. If he was truly going to be himself at all times, he needed to let the world know exactly who he was as well.
"You don't know how relieved I am with that statement, I suspected this meeting to be a little more rocky than this. I'm grateful for it though." Though the two warriors had similar interests in getting over the little bump in the road, the Namekian cut straight through to the point, the reasoning why it was so beneficial to the both of them and that was because the Earth was in danger. Kira had known it all along but he was trying not to worry about it, he felt he didn't really need to worry about it. He experienced what power could devestate the Earth, he was able to sense it every time since the attack on his home city and he knew that he wouldn't be able to do anything about it. All he could do was hope that it wouldn't happen again and that if it did happen again, that somebody would be able to stop it. At this point, he knew he wasn't capable. "I agree, it would be more beneficial to be allies but in the face of this threat..? I don't mean to be negative but it almost seems hopeless. I'm more than willing to do my best to protect the planet and save lives but.. It just seems like a stretch, ya know?" Though his smile had faded, he remained in a rather bright mindset. His fingers scratching at his head awkwardly but once more.
With the rocks floating around Kira he would pay attention to both the words and the actions of the Namekian's, it was something he didn't understand fully but he could grasp the concept of it through the mere description given to him. He was able to manipulate the size of the stones rather easily, shifting and bending them to his will before swelling them back to their original size. Now Kira wasn't knew to Ki or how to use it, but this was something new to him entirely. "Most Earthling's aren't familiar with Ki and though Martial Arts is rather common, the extent of which is learned by most is rather.. useless in the face of the kind of threats that Earth is facing. As for myself, I won't lie. I meditate but I wouldn't say it's for any other purpose than to rebalance myself."
Maybe there would be a window of opportunity here to learn more about the Spiritual side of Ki and how to harness that energy, of course with things being rather dire on Earth, it may have to wait but Kira wasn't one to close a book after reading the first pages. He often wanted to dig into it and really understand the contents. For now though, Hopefully the Namekian would be soft on him with the lack of mental training Kira had done.

Acsull smiled as Kira returned his feelings. Well, with that nonsense behind them, they could get to work as the men they were supposed to be: Guardians of the planet. In fact, Kira would comment on their current situation as such, noting how hopeless it was. The namekian nodded slowly and looked to the sky, the terrible, wild power of that... force pulling at the edges of his senses.
"...It may very well be... but that is not the point, is it?" Acsull murmured softly, almost under his breath. "...We are not at the liberty to run and cower, to act on our fear and find a crag to hide inside. We are warriors. We must do our job... or ensure we are ready when our time comes." Acsull would then turn his eyes back upon the human, spreading his arms wide. "At some point, our lives are going to end... Perhaps it is better if they are spent protecting a world we love, yes?" The young earthing would grimly remark how thin their chances were and, again, Acsull would nod. "There is no point in feeling afraid or focusing on our poor chances, is there? We have trained for situations like this and fought for the right to confront things like... that. "'Stretch' or not, this is your world, Kira. It will NOT be destroyed so long as you... and I still live." Acsull smiled reassuringly, resting a hand on the young man's shoulder.
"And besides... What kind of men would we be if we ran from battle rather than towards it?"
Acsull would explain the purpose of his meditative training and Kira would comment on his experience with human martial arts. The Namekian slowly nodded, raising finger to his chin thoughtfully.
"Ah, yes... I am aware of the... uselessness of standard human martial-arts. The seem... effective enough for the common villager to defend themselves from the average hooligan. I... suspect your planet has never faced threats like this often enough to warrant superior training on a grander scale." Acsull's eyes narrowed. "...Unfortunate. So much talent wasted in ignorance..." Kira would note how he too used meditation in his training, though he experimented with little more than the spiritual/mental aspect of self-centering. Acsull blinked in surprise. "Really? I find that... intriguing." Acsull mused, looking the human up and down. "I had expected someone of your strength to have mastered the intricacies of meditation at least as much as I have. Your power, at least to me, suggests as much." Acsull couldn't hide the small grin of hope spreading across his lips. If this boy had been able to grow this mighty with mere physical strain... How far did his well of potential go...?
"Come. Let us practice a basic technique together. I shall bridge the gap between our two training methods." Acsull would hop into the air a short distance, crossing his legs beneath him as he rested in a hover. He would reach out gently towards the human, placing his thumb upon his forehead right above the bridge of his nose, his own eyes falling shut.
"This... is image training... Close your eyes and focus on my energy... Our minds will meet in a singular place, a place where they shall simulate a physical battle."
